The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.

"At the end of our lives, there is only one regret — that we did not make the most of what we had, while we still had it. That we did not love the people we love, while they were still in front of us. That we did not recognize opportunity, while it was still resting in the palm of our hands."

― Brianna Wiest, The Life That's Waiting

I. Rooted in Purpose, Not a Position

Release the attachment of your identity to titles, companies, or people.

  • Jobs change.

  • Projects end.

  • People leave.

But your purpose? That's yours to keep. When you're rooted in your why, not your workplace―you move differently.

  • You stop chasing validation.

  • You start protecting your peace.

"Your purpose is not the thing you do. It is the thing that happens in others when you do what you do." ― Dr. Caroline Leaf

II. You’re Here to Live, Not Just to Hustle

You are not a machine.

  • You're a soul who needs music, connection, sunsets, laughter, and small pockets of joy.

  • Prioritize them like your life depends on it―because it does. Life isn't meant to be a cycle of stress and survival.

Pause. Look up. Let the sunset remind you: you're here to live, not just to hustle. Life is not just a to-do list. It's a gift.

  • Walk slower. Hug longer. Laugh louder. Love deeper.

  • The clock may be ticking, but your presence is timeless.

We've been conditioned to believe that constant productivity equals worth, but we weren't designed for endless output. We need moments of wonder, connection, and rest―not as rewards for hard work, but as essential ingredients for a meaningful life.

III. Soft Reminders: Notes for the Heart

Use what’s helpful. Let go of the rest.

  • There are people that won’t water their connection with you but still expect to have access to your fruit whenever it’s convenient for them. Not all energy that feels familiar is for you to feed.

  • Procrastination is expensive. It will cost you versions of yourself that you want to be and the life you want to live, over and over again until you act on your intentions. Don’t let regret become a heavy receipt.

  • The best teachers are the ones that show you the way back to yourself. The people that remind you softly that the lesson, the answer and the catalyst has always been you.

IV. Question

If I fully trusted myself, what decision would I make right now?

V. This Week, I Will

  • Choose action from a place of desire, not fear.

  • Trust myself enough to make one decision I’ve been hesitating on.

  • Release one story I’ve been telling myself that no longer serves me.

  • Forgive myself for a past mistake and focus on what I can create from here.

  • Give myself permission to feel joy without guilt or waiting for the "perfect" moment.

The Last Words…

"I think it's beautiful — the way you show up in this world, unguarded and willing to try again, despite all of the ways it has tried to defeat you. I think it's beautiful, the way you tuck courage into yourself each morning, the way you refuse to be anything but hopeful in this world, despite the inner battles you fight, despite the struggles you have experienced for so long. I think it's beautiful — the way you twist your losses into lessons, the way you fight even when you feel weak. You are not weak. There is a resounding level of courage to be found in being the person who continues to heal, even when it hurts. There is a resounding level of bravery to be found in being the person who believes in the light, even when they cannot see it."
